Bartle Bogle Hegarty has lured the team behind the new Sony
Playstation TV campaign away from TBWA GGT Simons Palmer.
Ed Morris, 31, and James Sinclair, 33, will join the agency in the
middle of October to work across all accounts.
Morris, an art director, started his career at below-the-line agencies
before becoming Sinclair’s partner in 1991. They were on several
placements before joining Miller and Leeves WAHT in 1992, where they won
a silver lion at Cannes and a gold at the New York Advertising Festival
for their Polaroid ’exchange’ film.
The pair then moved to Bainsfair Sharkey Trott and went through three
mergers at the agency - with BDDP, GGT and, finally, TBWA Simons Palmer
earlier this year.
At BST, the team won several awards for press ads for Kew Gardens and
London Transport.
Bruce Crouch, creative director at BBH, said: ’We have a history of
hiring teams at the stage the boys are at.’
Morris said: ’We always wanted to work at BBH.’
