Bartle Bogle Hegarty has unveiled the first three TV spots in One2One's pounds 8 million campaign for pre-pay mobile phones.
The campaign, which will include press, poster and radio executions, aims to show how easy it is to talk for a long time when you have a pre-pay mobile from One2One. It is timed to coincide with the Christmas shopping spree.
One ad shows a man playing in his local football team and reliving his glory - including scoring the winning goal - on the phone to his girlfriend.
She is non-plussed and prefers to watch TV while her partner babbles on.
A voiceover declares: 'Our vouchers go on and on.'
Another execution focuses on a girl who is receiving the unwanted attention of a geek who bombards her with messages. The spot highlights One2One's free voicemail retrieval service.
The third shows a lost man driving around in circles as a friend gives him directions from an A to Z. Three further executions are scheduled to air at the end of November.
Ben Fennell, BBH group business director, said: 'The brief of these films is to create talked-about communications.' Tina Harrison, head of marketing communications at One2One, added: 'People assess prepay value in terms of how long their vouchers last. Our 'on & on' campaign demonstrates One2One's value.'
The campaign was written by Marc Hatfield and art directed by Peter Bradly.
The commercials were directed by Kirk Jones through Tomboy Films. Media is being handled by Starcom Motive.
