Bartle Bogle Hegarty has been appointed by a German subsidiary of Unilever, Union Deutsche Lebensmittelwerke, to relaunch its Bi-Fi meat snack brand in Germany.
BBH has been tasked with reinvigorating the 28 year old brand in the German market and later rolling out in other parts of Europe.
Billings for the account were not disclosed. Media buying for the business will be handled by MindShare.
Ulrike Ronda, marketing director, at Union Deutsche Lebensmittelwerke, said: "We have ambitious plans for the Bi-Fi brand and we felt BBH's strong strategic and creative credentials would help us bring those ambitions to fruition."
Bi-Fi is the savoury snack market leader in Germany with a 56 per cent market share.
