COI Communications has handed Partners BDDH a place on its roster, awarding it the task of developing a marketing strategy for its Energy Savings Trust business.
The agency was appointed after a four-way pitch involving TBWA/London and two other un-named agencies.
The campaign will aim to encourage the 500 local authorities in the UK to sign up to energy efficiency and green transport initiatives in a bid to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and improve domestic energy efficiency and air quality in urban areas.
The chief executive of BDDH, Nigel Long, said: 'Increasingly, we're being given strategic consultancy opportunities like this.'
The Energy Savings Trust was borne out of the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio, which addressed global concerns on environmental issues.
