Bermuda names agency shortlist

- The Bermuda Department of Tourism has shortlisted seven US agencies for its estimated $12 million advertising account following initial presentations by as many as 15 shops.

- The Bermuda Department of Tourism has shortlisted seven US agencies for its estimated $12 million advertising account following initial presentations by as many as 15 shops.

The agencies on the short list are Arnold Communications and Trinity Communications, out of Boston; Hill, Holliday/Altschiller, incumbent DDB Needham Worldwide and Margeotes/Fertitta + Partners, all out of New York; Eisner & Associates, Baltimore; and McKinney & Silver, Raleigh.

It is expected that a decision could be made as early as the end of January with the department of tourism looking to have the first work ready to air by April.
