Echoing the breathless unboxing ads favored by tech giants, a new spot from Children's Hospital of Minnesota raves about a "breakthrough tool" with incomparable benefits for babies’ cognitive development – a parent. The 30-second digital spot by Mono debuted on the tech news site Mashable and is also running on social media channels and radio. A previous spot in the campaign used a similar reveal, touting a "simple teaching aid" that helps child brain development. Both ads feature a mother and child of color and direct parents to www.amazingis.com, a hospital-run web portal with information on child rearing.
