Family history destination Ancestry.com and news portal NBCi.com
have embarked on a joint venture to help people get back to their roots.
The deal calls for Ancestry.com to provide all content for NBCi's new
The agreement gives NBCi members access to Ancestry.com's search
services, which cover more than one billion records in over 3,000
databases, as well as a step-by-step guide on how to trace family
history. Users can also connect with others researching similar family
lines through message boards, sign up for a free email newsletter and
order genealogy books, CD-ROMs and other products.
