Blackwell, the academic bookseller, is looking for an agency to
help it tap into the growing number of students and academics who are
buying their books online.
The company is seeking an agency to help develop a visual identity for
the brand which can be used on a new online bookstore website, and to
develop creative and buy media for a marketing campaign for the new site
for later this year.
Hannah Grant, Blackwell’s marketing manager, is understood to be looking
for shops with experience in brand development - especially in the youth
area - as well as a track record in new media. Since the site may roll
out to European users, it is also seeking international capability.
The website will also feature other services, split into three broad
areas: learning, living and loafing.
