The Art of Dining’s Abigail’s Party, a 1970s-themed, five-course pop-up dining experience, will run weekly from Wednesday 11 March for a four-week run and will combine food, theatre, music, set design and now vaping.
As part of the sponsorship deal, one of the characters in the play will use a Blu e-cigarette throughout the live performance and guests will be issued a vintage-style 70’s Blu mojito recipe insert in each menu magazine. The smokers and vapers among the diners, who will be aged 18 and over, will also be able to try Blu e-cigarettes throughout the experience.
Blu UK hopes the use of e-cigarettes in the live performance will add a modern, stylish take on the iconic 1970s play and introduce an additional multi-sensory layer.
Jacob Fuller, chief executive of Blu UK, said: "Blu e-cigarettes offer a complete multi-sensorial experience, a vision shared by The Art of Dining, so it made perfect sense to partner with them for their latest production.
"Abigail’s Party is a hugely popular play that subtly captures the culture of the period and we’re excited to provide an unexpected modern twist that will surprise today’s audiences."
The dining experience will take place at The Rose Lipman Building in London.
