commercials for Legoland Windsor which go on air next week.

The ads have been written to appeal to both parents and children, using

Legoland characters in entertaining scenarios that demonstrate the range

of attractions at the theme park.

’Earthquake’ is set at a dinner party - or ’informal buffet and mingle’

as the hostess, Caroline, prefers to call it - where conversation is

interrupted when the room starts to vibrate wildly.

Caroline cries: ’Hang on - earthquake’, as the film cuts to a group of

children playing in Legoland’s imagination centre. The final shot shows

the ensuing domestic chaos at the dinner party. The hostess asks

tentatively: ’Is everyone all right for drinks?’

’Postie’ features a grumpy Legoland postman. ’Traffic’ shows two elderly

Legolanders who can’t find a safe moment to cross the road.

The campaign was directed by Jon Magnusson and Andy de Emmony through

Talkback Productions, and created by Ewan Paterson and Nick Gill. Media

buying is through CIA Medianetwork.

The voiceovers are provided by an a range of TV personalities, including

Johnny Ball.
