BMP DDB has taken on two award-winning creative teams, Justin
Tindall and Adam Tucker from FCA!, and Darren Bailes and Alan MacCuish
Tindall and Tucker are best known for their through-the-line campaign
for the Wales Tourist Board, featuring a dirty van with the words ’clean
air is just two hours away’ graffitied in the dirt. The work garnered
the inaugural Campaign Direct gold award as well as receiving
nominations for the Campaign Press and Poster awards, D&AD and Cannes.
They have also picked up awards for their work for the Children’s
Society, highlighting the existence of child prostitution in the UK.
Bailes and MacCuish were Campaign Faces to Watch this year, and are
behind several high-profile campaigns for Orange.
Larry Barker, the creative director of BMP, said: ’Justin and Adam’s
book contains more work that isn’t advertising than is. Their
media-neutral background is more and more relevant to us, and they
bristle with freshness.’
Barker will be reunited with Bailes and MacCuish, whom he hired while at
WCRS. He said: ’Darren and Alan are very hungry and bright, and have a
big, glossy book that is very real. I always intended to bring them to
BMP, but in the time they have remained at WCRS, they have gained a lot
of very good experience.’
Both teams will join in mid-October.
