Bompas & Parr to host jelly workshop

Culinary architects Bompas & Parr will be staging a workshop tomorrow (16 March) which explores the mysteries, joys and wonders of jelly.

Guests will learn to complete the jellying process, from mould design and production, to how to construct the world’s best jellies. Bompas & Parr will also be giving key insights into their own jelly-based secrets, from setting techniques to creating veritable galaxies within desserts.

Attendees will also learn about the science of gels and how to unmould their desserts with confidence. The agency will also be teaching the history of jelly, and will be exploring the idea of food as a spectacle. Tastebuds will be put to the test, and every participant will leave with a mould they have made with their own hands.

The experience will kick off at 6pm tomorrow (16 March) at Bompas & Parr's studio in London.

In December, Bompas & Parr teamed up with Westfield London to stage a cocktail-themed adventure called 'Beyond the Waterfall'. The culinary agency also created five Victorian-inspired meat bouquets for Valentine's Day.
