Boon to leave job as publishing director of Men's Health

LONDON - Ralph Boon, the publishing director of Men's Health, is leaving the magazine.

Boon's departure follows the completion of a joint venture deal between Rodale, the publisher of Men's Health, and The National Magazine Company. The two publishers created NatMag-Rodale to publish Men's Health and launch new titles.

NatMag-Rodale was launched last May to publish Men's Health and sister Rodale title Runner's World. Men's Health has a circulation of 221,049.

Boon said that he would take time off before looking for other jobs in media. "It is always tempting to stay with a successful title, but there comes a time when the job is done. It is personally right to move on and start a new challenge," he said.

Gianni Crespi, president of Rodale International, said: "Ralph has helped to facilitate the smooth transition of Men's Health into the new joint venture... and together with the editor has created strong momentum for growth over the last few months."
