Boots Opticians "They're Boots darling" by Ogilvy

Boots Opticians brings high fashion to the high street in its latest campaign, launched across TV, in-store and print.

Set to the vintage stylings of Italian singer Fred Buscaglione, the spot follows visually-impaired models as they dance, smoulder and generally look broody in an unfurnished mansion. It ends as a model takes off her glasses, revealing her specs only cost £40.

It was created by Dave Anderson and Ian Brassett, and directed by Vince Squibb through Academy Films.

Last year, Boots Opticians launched a campaign highlighting the feel-good effect of finding the perfect frames.
