Boots is attempting to bolster its share of the online health and beauty market with the appointment of Grand Union to develop the digital strategy for

The decision sees Boots move beyond "Los Galacticos", the consortium of several agencies led by Mother, which was appointed in December 2003 to handle the retailer's integrated communications needs.

Grand Union will work closely with the Boots team to help to refine and optimise the brand's ongoing activities, but also to identify new and emerging opportunities.
