Bozell Worldwide is rebranding 20/20 Media, its European joint
venture with CIA Medianetwork, as BJK&E Media, in a move that signals
its commitment to building a global media brand.
The name change aligns Bozell’s European media operation with the
US-based BJK&E Media. In the UK, 20/20 Media’s ownership, managerial and
structural set-up remains the same. The new name will apply to all 20/20
Media operations in Europe with immediate effect and will roll out into
markets where 20/20 has no presence, either as a joint venture or
strategic alliance with CIA.
The move is seen as an attempt by the Bozell network to compete more
effectively in media. One insider said: ’They’re playing catch-up with
the rest of the market.’
