Brass Tacks, the UK-based contract publisher, has been appointed by

Gulf Air to produce its monthly inflight title Golden Falcon.

The company will begin producing the 92-page magazine on 1 March. It was

previously published in Bahrain.

Each year Golden Falcon is seen by more than five million Gulf Air

passengers.

Brass Tacks has redesigned the title and increased the number of ad

slots from 23 to 28 pages. Because the majority of Gulf Air passengers

are business travellers, Golden Falcon has traditionally attracted

luxury brands such as Rolex, Olympus, Ericsson and five-star hotel

chains.

Sales will be handled by ad director Krystyna Pinches, who also looks

after British Trade International’s magazine Overseas Trade, the

Somerfield magazine and Lloyd’s Pharmacy’s Vitality.
