Breast Cancer Now, the charity born of a merger between Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer, announces its ambition to stop women dying of the disease by 2050 in its first ad campaign.
Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R created the spot, which breaks today (15 June) on Channel 4. The ad features women who are fighting breast cancer talking about how they won’t be the last person to lose a breast to the disease, undergo endless tests or be forced to tell their children what’s happening to them. At the end, one woman says that she won’t be the last person to die of breast cancer before adding that, one day, "there will be a last one". The work will run until October.
