The media agency, BJK&E, is threatening to sue the More Group after
the outdoor company failed to erect a giant billboard in London’s
Holborn. The giant 35 metre by 15 metre poster was to feature Kelly
Brook in a Triumph bra. But More fell foul of health and safety rules
and the site did not go up in time. BJK&E says it will sue if More
doesn’t pay compensation.
Manning Gottlieb Media and its sister company,the Allmond Partnership,
have launched a research and analysis unit. Return on Investment is
headed by MGM’s market analysis director, Sally Dickerson, who moves

The internet credit company, Beenz, has signed an exclusive 12-month
deal with Excite UK. The internet portal will use the Beenz system,
which works along the lines of supermarket reward cards, while Beenz
will advertise heavily on the Excite website.
The Sun’s reviews and listings supplement, The Source, has folded. The
title was launched with the Friday edition in April 1998 within the M25
area, but it was up against heavy competition from Time Out and other
newspaper supplements. Ad resources are to be channelled into other

The glossy monthly gay men’s health and lifestyle magazine, Axiom, is
switching from free circulation to newsstand sales. The title has
previously been distributed in gay bars, cafes, clubs, pubs and gyms.
But from 23 September it will be stocked by W.H. Smith, John Menzies and
other leading newsagents across the UK and the Continent.
Autosport.com has posted a record ABC of 6,144,837 page impressions.
