British Market Research Association prepares to launch awards

– The British Market Research Association is set to launch the inaugural British Market Research Awards.

– The British Market Research Association is set to launch the inaugural British Market Research Awards.

The awards will be split into five categories: marketing, business performance, technology, communications and innovation. Winners from each category will receive a cash prize, and the overall winner will receive a BMRA trophy at the awards dinner.

The programme will include a speech by DTI minister Patricia Hewitt. Other speakers are expected to be announced shortly.

A judging panel for the awards will be chaired by John Samuel from Market and Social Research Consultancy. He will be assisted by other industry players including BMRA chairman John Kelly, J Walter Thompson London planning director Merry Baskin, Market Research Society chairman Justin Guttman and Sue Robson, managing director of The Qualitative Consultancy.
