The launch campaign for BT Plus is set to a 1980s classic, New Order's Blue Monday.
The ad by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO follows Heather as she puts on her jacket to leave the house while streaming the song. When she shuts the laptop and walks outside, the music continues to play and the world around her syncs to the track as she continues her journey through the city. BT Plus is BT’s plan including both fibre broadband and 4G, and the campaign is part of the brand’s efforts to emotionally engage and excite people more. The work was written by Diccon Driver, art directed by Alan Wilson, and directed by 32 through Pulse Films.
