After abandoning the team last year, the beer maker brings back both horses and vintage crates for the season
For Budweiser's 139th holiday season, the brewer has brought back its equine mascots and a limited-edition case that resembles the first packs of beer available after Prohibition's repeal.
The 30-second spot was filmed at Anheuser-Busch’s St. Louis brewery. The video also features the term "macro," (as opposed to "micro," as in microbrew) which the beverage company started using in its 2015 Super Bowl ad.
In 2014, Bud broke tradition by leaving the Clydesdales out of its holiday advertising. (The horses did appear for the Super Bowl.)
