Burt's Bees's VR experience welcomes fans into founder's cabin

The brand uses technology to tap into Burt Shavitz's analog lifestyle just in time for Earth Day

Burt Shavitz, the bearded founder of Burt's Bees brand, died in 2015, but today, he lives on in a 360 digital experience called "Burt's Nature: A 360 Tour." The project harks back to a more simplistic time, using video clips of Shavitz from the "Burt's Buzz" documentary to give virtual visitors the chance to explore his rural Maine home. It's also reminiscent of when Baldwin& was Burt's Bees AOR. The North Carolina agency worked with Google and creative agency MediaMonks to produce the immersion. Burt's Bees has since moved its business to mcgarrybowen's New York office.
