Campaign Diary: Celebs flock to Cosmo do (if weathergirls and boxers count, that is)

Cosmopolitan celebrated its 25th anniversary at London’s Cafe de Paris last Monday along with a glittering, if peculiar, assembly of top(ish) celebrities.

Cosmopolitan celebrated its 25th anniversary at London’s Cafe de

Paris last Monday along with a glittering, if peculiar, assembly of

top(ish) celebrities.

The shiny people included Tara Palmer-Tomkinson (again - see right), who

was seen enthusiastically downing a number of Cosmo cocktails (a wicked

combination of vodka, cranberry juice and lime) before heading off to

her next social function.

Josie Lawrence was also there, together with weathergirl, Sian Phillips

(for some reason), Sky TV presenter, Anna Walker, and, oddly, Chris

Eubank.

Mr Eubank, the honorary Cosmo girl seen chatting with publishing

director, Simon Kippin, and international sales manager, Georgia Coles

(below), must have slipped through the net because of his support for

Breakthrough, the breast cancer charity that was benefiting from the

event.

The rumour that Liz Hurley had snubbed the bash was firmly squashed.

’Liz was, of course, invited but she had to go to Liz Taylor’s birthday

do in the US, so she couldn’t make it,’ a spokesperson insisted.

Thinks: Elizabeth Taylor versus glossy women’s magazine. No contest,

really.
