Since we revealed how Michaelides & Bednash took us to play table
football, it seems everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.
The guys at Loose Moose have launched their own Loose Moose Unofficial
1998 World Table Football Championship.
The competition will follow the World Cup format, with each team
allocated a country. Each country will play a minimum of three
Three points will be awarded for a win, one point for a draw and the top
two teams in the eight leagues will then proceed to knock-out stages.
Draws in the knock-out will be decided by penalties.
The championship will take place on Wednesday 3 June at Cafe Kick in
London’s Exmouth Market. It’s just as well the real World Cup doesn’t
kick off until the following week or there’d be a definite risk of M&B’s
Graham Bednash throwing another game.
