CAMPAIGN DIARY: Fantasy League latest

Tim Rowell, a clearly brainy senior analyst at PMP Research, has won this month’s highest-scoring team prize on CampaignLive’s Fantasy Agency League. He wins a case of Laurent Perrier champagne provided by the sponsor, the online advertising network, DoubleClick. Rowell scored 215 points last month, taking him to 703 points in total.

215 points last month, taking him to 703 points in total.

However, his team, Acronym, is still a long way behind the Fantasy

Agency League’s undisputed leader, which is managed by Campaign reporter

and Diary monopoliser, Eleanor Trickett (see above). Eleanor’s team,

Treehugger, has held the lead for a whacking four weeks and has now

amassed a frankly greedy 1,014 points.

Despite continuing accusations of bung-taking and bribery from jealous

colleagues, this week she managed to fend off a strong challenge from

the league’s number two team, Marty Seagal’s The Rocket Scientists.

Behind Seagal is Paul Bradbury of Lowe Hunt & Partners Sydney with Gold

Diggers on 951 points. In fourth and fifth places are Nick Williams of

Leo Burnett with Thrust on 932, and Simon Andrews of Modem Media Poppe

Tyson with MACEO on 926.
