We’ve all seen Through the Keyhole with Loyd Grossman and correctly
guessed which celebrities’ houses were being shown.
But would you be so clever if it was the house of, say, M&C Saatchi’s
joint chief executive, Moray MacLennan?
MacLennan, along with WCRS’s Robin Wight, M&C Saatchi’s David Kershaw,
BMP DDB’s Chris Powell, Walker Media’s Christine Walker, TBWA GGT Simons
Palmer’s Carl Johnson and Leagas Delaney’s Bruce Haines, agreed to allow
the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising to creep around their
luxurious pads to provide entertainment for its Christmas party on
Monday.
TBWA’s client services director, Gary Lace, stepped in as the host after
Grossman ducked out at the last minute and proved to be capable at
compering, if not comedy.
Amanda Walsh, the managing director of Walsh Trott Chick Smith, proved
more than useful to her partners, Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper’s Mark Wnek and
J.
Walter Thompson’s Mark Robinson, on the panel.
Walsh seemed to have a sixth sense when it came to guessing the
residents of the featured houses, even naming the postal districts that
the houses were in.
And before any gossiping gets going, it’s only because she’s had dinner
in most of them.
