Anyone wandering down Buckingham Palace Road last week could be
forgiven for thinking they had seen Luciano Pavarotti taking a stroll
into the nearby offices of MediaVest.
Instead, Classic FM persuaded Darren Henley, its head of news, to dress
up as the portly opera singer to present Tim Armes, the media director
at MediaVest, with the top prize from its fifth birthday
Armes was oblivious to the planned visit by ’Pavarotti’ and had also
forgotten he’d entered the contest. However, he gladly accepted his
prize of a five-star weekend trip to Milan, the use of a limousine and
pounds 500 to spend.
Armes has still to announce who he’ll be taking with him on the trip but
we understand most of MediaVest has put in a bid.
