Fred Kuys, chief executive of Publicis Dialog, Publicis’s newly launched

direct marketing arm, was recently at a gala evening at the Donmar

Warehouse. He was more than happy to chat to Nicole Kidman, star of the

hit play, The Blue Room. We’re sure that she’s more than happy with Tom

Cruise, but they make a gorgeous couple nevertheless. Kidman, whose

performance in the play has been described as ’pure theatrical Viagra’,

was probably not that interested in Kuys’ below-the-line business,

though we’ve since heard rumours that Manpower, a Publicis Dialog

client, is more than keen for her to feature in its campaign.
