CAMPAIGN DIARY: Lowe Digital’s Internet swan song looks like a Website for sore eyes

So Lowe Howard-Spink has now closed Lowe Digital, its new-media

unit. On hearing the news, we paid the agency’s Website a visit to see

Lowe Digital’s last work - and were pleasantly surprised at what we

found.

Along with the creative work and the agency’s history, we discovered an

interesting section called ’Client’s Choice’. We chuckled when we saw

that the featured client was Justin Jameson of Express Newspapers.

It wasn’t the fact that Jameson left Express Newspapers at the end of

March that tickled us, rather that it’s more than three weeks since the

agency lost the Express account to Leo Burnett.

The beauty of the Internet is that it’s such an immediate medium - no

wonder Lowes closed its new-media department.
