Apparently, an investigation is being carried out into an act of
vandalism to offices at Canary Wharf in London’s Docklands.
It’s believed that around pounds 100,000 worth of damage was caused by
someone who gained access to the unoccupied 32nd floor. The mystery
vandal ripped firehoses from the wall and let loose torrents of water,
which damaged carpets, computer systems, furniture and ceilings.
Among the offices affected by the intruder’s malevolent behaviour were
those of Mirror Group Newspapers. Police are looking for a current or
ex-employee with a grievance.
That should narrow it down, then, eh?
