Keep an eye out for these three dapper fellows in next week’s
launch issue of Wedding Day magazine. To illustrate a feature on wedding
outfits for the fathers of the bride, the magazine came up with the idea
of using admen with married daughters as models.
Ken New, chairman of New PHD, fell in love with the Ozwald Boateng suit
supplied by the mag. However, Mike Cozens, executive creative director
of Young & Rubicam, had reservations about his shoot outfit from Tom
For the wedding of his daughter, Jenny, he had hired his suit from Moss
Bros, and thought that the natty Gilbey creation could well have
outshone the bride.
But we liked BMP DDB’s John Webster’s look the best. It’s those
tastefully crumpled trousers that clinched it.
