Tony Kaye, despite annoucing last year that he was quitting
commercials in order to pursue his dream of creating an Andy
Warhol-style Factory of artistic talent, is keeping busy.
When not exchanging words with McCann-Erickson over a recent problematic
Bacardi shoot, he is writing poetry.
Below is printed his charming contribution to this week’s feature, Me
and My Hero, in which we discover that the the most famous film director
of this or any other generation has as his hero ... Tony Kaye. Heaven
knows why we could only find space on the Diary page to print this
nonsense (surely ’masterpiece?’ TK).
