CAMPAIGN DIARY: Rose Hackney wrecks the joint for send-off

Those of you who ventured into Rose Hackney Barber’s farewell party for one of its founders, John Hackney, could be forgiven for assuming that construction work on the venue hadn’t been completed before the revellers moved in.

The disused building in Bond Street - specially decorated to look like

a, erm, disused building - didn’t put off any of the celebs that we

spotted bopping to the tunes being laid down by Massive Attack’s Daddy G

and Mushroom. However, it would have made everyone’s night had Finlay

Quaye been snapped dancing with the Appleton sisters from All Saints.
