CAMPAIGN DIARY: ’The snapper is due - quick, send Bednash on the sandwich run’

Poor old Graham Bednash. We couldn’t help but notice that whenever the Michaelides & Bednash office appears in the press or on TV, George Michaelides manages to appear smack in the middle of the pic and poor Bednash is either omitted or lurking in a corner.

Poor old Graham Bednash. We couldn’t help but notice that whenever

the Michaelides & Bednash office appears in the press or on TV, George

Michaelides manages to appear smack in the middle of the pic and poor

Bednash is either omitted or lurking in a corner.

For example, take a peek at the Guardian supplement, Space, last

week.

There’s Michaelides holding court on the workbench (the longest table in

the country, apparently) while Bednash is ... well, nowhere to be

seen.

Now cast your mind back to a TV programme piece a couple of months ago.

Michaelides was shown lecturing one of M&B’s staff while Bednash could

just be seen in the background nodding obediently.

We’ve always liked to think of M&B as the Wham! of the industry - and

it’s obvious who’s George Michael and who’s ... what was the name of

that other bloke?
