Have you received your first Christmas Card yet? If not, take a tip
from Virgin Radio’s Chris Evans. Every year Evans uses the Woolworth’s
Christmas advertising to judge whether Christmas has officially
arrived.
Last year he was left alone to watch the TV and record the debut of the
traditional Christmas campaign.
In a bid to outsmart the Ginger one this year, the Woolworth’s agency,
Bates Dorland, sent him a tape of the ad and some sweets prior to its
launch. However, we’re sure he’d rather discover an ad himself, so any
hints about Evans’ new Christmas choice this year would be appreciated.
