Good to see The Daily Telegraph running a mischievous tale about Hat Pin, the parent company of the headhunter, Kendall Tarrant, last week. The story commended the company’s chief executive, Gay Haines, on his imaginative start for a speech made after the company announced upbeat results.

week. The story commended the company’s chief executive, Gay Haines, on

his imaginative start for a speech made after the company announced

upbeat results.



Not half as imaginative as the Telegraph’s reporting. Gay Haines, at

least as far as we remember, is a woman.
