If any of you have harboured secret ambitions of appearing in one
of those increasingly popular fly-on-the wall television documentaries,
this could be your big break.
The BBC has contacted the Direct Marketing Association in the hope of
unearthing a group of truly enterprising and eager direct marketing
people for its programme, Wheeler Dealers.
In the show, two teams are given pounds 1,000 and are set the task of
making a profit in a designated market in just one week.
It seems the reputation of direct marketing people as wheeler dealers
has reached the hallowed halls of the BBC so, if you want to make your
debut television appearance, think you have the requisite business nous
and have the guts to put your reputation to the test to make a few
bucks, here’s your chance. Contact Pamela Edmond at the Direct Marketing
Association on 0171-766 4433
