You’ve got to feel sorry for poor old Ben Langdon. The managing
director of McCann-Erickson was spotted at the Marketing Society’s
dinner last week desperately trying to disguise the fact that after his
marketing director, Amy Smith, had left the agency, no-one had taken
over responsibility for filling the table the agency had booked at the
bash. When Langdon confronted Smith and accused her of trying to
sabotage the agency, she said: ’Look, Scott ...’ ’Scott?’ Langdon
replied, bemused.
’Scott no friends,’ Smith giggled
