Virgin Net wanted to show how simple and easy it is to use its service

in contrast with the notoriously cluttered and confusing world of the

internet. A band-wrap led readers directly to its double-page spread ad

- a remarkably easy aptitude test with a hard-hitting responsive

communication.

readers to ring a phone number that revealed the lady-killing qualities

of Lynx shower gel.

To show how Audi’s Used-Car Locator worked and to appeal to women as

well as men, this ad mimicked the common magazine currency of perfume

tip-ons, but revealed an Audi instead of a perfume sample.
