Campaign Media Awards 2008: Media is up to the challenge of the brave new digital world

The media industry has never been one for the fainthearted and this is particularly true during these testing economic times.

Nevertheless, it remains a fantastically exciting time to be in our industry. Digital technology is changing everything and in ways and at a speed that could never have been imagined just a few years ago.

As we move from the relatively simple, process-driven analogue world of the past and into the much more creative, complex and multi-faceted digital world of the future, it's great to see the industry rising so well to this challenge. These awards represent the very best of the latest thinking, and they do a great job in showcasing this new world.
