name to the sponsorship of the Best 48-Sheet Award.
1997 has seen Trainer increase its stronghold in the Scottish outdoor
market. In the past year, the company growth has expanded by 40 per
cent.
It invested more than pounds 1 million in the Scottish outdoor market
last year with the acquisition of new sites, securing a long-term future
for outdoor advertising in Scotland.
Trainer’s progressive development programme has greatly increased its
portfolio of roadside locations and introduced stunning innovations into
the Scottish market, with new monopolies at key locations such as the M8
motorway and High Street in Glasgow. Investment in illumination and the
highest standards of presentation have also paid off this year and have
brought Trainer’s outdoor in Scotland to a new level. All of this can
only be good news for the industry.
The way ahead looks bright with the promise of new products in 1998, and
an expected increase in interest in the Scottish market, as the UK
advertising industry looks more closely at the specific opportunities
available now that the devolution question is settled. What is sure for
the future, is that Trainer will continue to live up to its promise -
