JC Decaux is the world’s largest outdoor advertising company with

coverage in more than 1,100 cities in 14 countries throughout Europe and

the US, providing well over 150,000 back-illuminated panels, all in the

Citylight format.

JC Decaux is now the fastest growing outdoor advertising company in the

UK after its launch in 1991. So far this year, several major contracts

in the London area and the rest of the country have been awarded to JC

Decaux for freestanding advertising panels, advertising columns and bus

shelters.

Areas include Leeds, Kingston-Upon-Hull, Northampton and Glasgow for the

SECC.

This will further increase JC Decaux’s coverage to 40 per cent of the

country’s population in key cities with populations greater than

100,000.

Most significantly, JC Decaux will cover more than 58 per cent of

London.

As part of its bus shelter development, JC Decaux has established the

standard for Citylight advertising, with freestanding units, plus

12-sheet advertising columns installed in unique locations offering

proximity to the point-of-sale, key pedestrian shopping areas and

central reservations on major roads.

JC Decaux’s development policy is based on:

- High share of voice

- Head-on panels

- 100 per cent illumination

JC Decaux has recently been appointed the exclusive outdoor advertising

company for Tesco - the UK’s largest grocery retailer with a 20 per cent
