CAMPAIGN REPORT ON TOP 300 AGENCIES: Business to business agencies

For the fourth year in a row, the top position is taken by

McCann-Erickson Birmingham, with newcomer Warman & Bannister in third

place. Compiled by Campaign with the aid of the IPA and the Association

of Business to Business Agencies, the table below ranks shops by their

income in 2000.

Footnote: This table is compiled from data supplied by agencies with the

help of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising and the

Association of Business to Business Agencies. Agencies were contacted at

the end of last year and asked to provide figures for their declared

income, declared billings, total number of accounts held and number of

accounts won over the past 12 months. The list was then ranked according

to declared income in accordance with the figures provided. The

criterion for inclusion in this list is that more than 50 per cent of

the agency's turnover is from business to business advertising income.
