CAMPAIGN SUPPLEMENT ON CRAIK JONES 1991-2001: DIARY - Plastic breasts stun Christmas partygoers

Craik Jones parties are always debauched affairs, and the ringmaster is Jon Voelkel, Craik Jones' planning director. Though not usually renowned for dressing up, Voelkel loves nothing better than to lead the agency's celebrations by wearing women's clothes to the Christmas Lunch.

In previous years he has appeared dressed as the Christmas Fairy and, together with Robin Mitchell, as the Ugly Sisters from Cinderella. Voelkel decided to get contemporary for the 2000 bash and appeared with colleagues as Charlie's Angels.

Voelkel, teaming up with fellow board directors Mitchell and Jason Parry, sported a huge pair of plastic breasts in a bid to woo drunken agency staffers.

Though to many this might be a frightening sight, the intentions of the Angels were strictly honourable. Voelkel and co's main role was to hand out the presents from the agency's Secret Santa sack at the party.

Judging by the smile on his face, the agency's creative director, Phil Keevill, seems to have particularly enjoyed the visit of the bulging sack.
