When Jordan Lane joined Stein IAS as an apprentice web developer in 2013, he had just left school. He made an immediate impression as the most talented developer they had ever seen.

Lane quickly rose through the ranks. In 2014 he became a web developer. In 2016, he became head of interactive. This year Lane has been promoted to director of creative technology and now he oversees the day-to-day and strategic implementation of Stein IAS’s digital output.

There are only five directors in a company of 110 people and Lane is the youngest ever… by nearly 10 years. He supports and mentors a team of developers and builds relationships with external tech partners. And, perhaps most importantly, he identifies and uses emerging technologies, ensuring that the agency stays ahead of digital marketing trends.

This year, Lane led Stein IAS’s biggest-ever web projects and, despite his development background, he has become a marketing and creative technologist. His innovation has led to many awards, too – he’s been intrinsic to over 80 wins.

A Stein IAS spokesperson said: "We have some experienced and highly skilled people here, but none of us were anywhere near where [Lane] is when we were that age. Actually, we have no idea how he does it."
