Campaign TV: How Accenture's new AI tech combats ad-blocking

Accenture Interactive's R&D unit, based in Sophia Antipolis, France, has created a potential alternative to pre-roll ads.

Using artificial intelligence to identify "hot spots," this technology can scan an image and embed a contextual marketing message in real-time to seamlessly integrate with the video.

At this year’s Cannes Lions Festival, Campaign caught up with Accenture Interactive’s managing director Alex Naressi for a demo of this patent-pending technology.
