Carat International has appointed Karen Fraser, the European media research director for Starcom MediaVest Group, as its international product development director.
Fraser, who has previously worked as director of international research for Turner Time Warner, will be responsible for developing group media tools to be used across international clients, including the recently won BMW, LVMH and Renault.
Her primary focus will be on developing the internet as a communications tool between the agency and client offices.

Fraser will take up her new position in February.
