The London-based agency Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners was founded in January 2000 following a management buy-out of Delaney Fletcher Bozell by Greg Delaney, Mark Lund, Tom Knox, Richard Warren, Gary Betts and Malcolm Green. In 2005, DLKW was acquired by Creston plc, a marketing services group. Our clients include Halifax, Vauxhall, COI Communications, Burger King, eBay, the AA, WHSmith and Premier Foods.
Company culture and style
We had a clear idea of the kind of agency we wanted to be: creative, collaborative and commercial. We want to be proud of what we produce, be a great place to work and a great partner to work with.
There is a wide mix of people here, split roughly 50:50 male to female, and we are all passionate about what we do. Our youngest DLKWer is 21, our oldest is our 85-year-old art buyer, Tony Dell. You'll learn a huge amount from him about the job and also about London and the arts.
DLKW is based in the heart of Covent Garden. You'll become a pro at giving tourists directions, and your credit card might suffer, but the opportunities to submerge yourself in popular culture are limitless.
The offices are mainly open plan, reflecting the convivial nature of the agency and our collaborative way of working.
The graduate scheme
Our 2006 scheme will open in September. Applicants are invited to click on the recruitment section of our website where you will be asked to complete an online application. There will be a two-stage interview process for those shortlisted. We are looking to select between two and four graduates.
Successful applicants will undergo a three-week training programme. This includes an internal training scheme with rotation through all departments plus external courses.
Pay and benefits
DLKW is a competitive payer, and your salary and performance will be reviewed on a six- to 12-month basis. DLKW also offers health and life insurance and has a group income-protection plan. You get 22 days holiday, which increases with your tenure at the company.
While we have a structured training and review programme that continues well beyond the graduate scheme, the opportunities for career progression are also in your own hands. Every major piece of business the agency manages is run by one of DLKW's managing partners and you will get daily interaction with highly experienced people across a range of disciplines. It means that you have every opportunity to shine if you are cut out for the job.
It is no longer acceptable for an agency to offer only advertising. Our doubling in size in the past two years, and future growth, has come and will continue to come from offering fully integrated solutions from fully integrated teams.
We are looking for people who can help drive our business forward with passion, adventure, ideas, creativity and intelligence.
