RKCR/Y&R was founded in 1993 by four of adland's most respected practitioners.
The agency grew very fast, and soon attracted the attention of the WPP-owned Young & Rubicam (Y&R), a leading global network that bought RKCR in 1999. RKCR/Y&R remains a jewel in the Y&R crown, creating globally awarded campaigns for brands such as Virgin Atlantic, Land Rover and The Times. Today the agency has a fresh-faced new management team who are working towards continuing RKCR/Y&R's success and reputation. Under the watchful eye of Mark Roalfe, one of the founding four, the agency has in the past year alone been named joint IPA Effectiveness Agency of the Year, while also adding brands like Budweiser to its client list.

Alongside us are our colleagues in Y&R Europe, Wunderman (direct marketing) and Nylon (communication planning). The combined result is a buzzy environment where fully media-neutral ideas are generated.

We hire advertising trainees on the premise that they have the potential to lead the agency, be that as a planner or account handler. On arrival, you'll be given an eight-week intensive training programme in all things advertising, including experience with our group companies. But the training does not stop there. As an IPA Continuous Professional Development-accredited agency, RKCR/ Y&R ensures every member of staff gets regular training opportunities.
